The Story Behind Valhalla K9 Kennels

Meet Allie and Kevin Roberts, Idaho natives with a genuine passion for dogs. Recognizing the need for a high-quality kennel that could cater to all types of dogs in Canyon County, they decided to open Valhalla K9 Kennels—a premier dog boarding facility serving Middleton, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, and the surrounding area.
Allie Roberts: a native of Middleton, Idaho, and a graduate of BSU, has always been a compassionate and caring individual. Her love for animals drove her to give back to her community by providing a loving and secure space for dogs to stay. Here, every dog is treated like a cherished family member, receiving the utmost attention and care.
Her academic journey at Boise State University resulted in a double major in Health Science and Psychology, and she discovered a particular interest and talent for behavior modification. This knowledge has been invaluable in her role of caring for and boarding dogs of all breeds. For Allie, offering dog boarding services is the perfect way to utilize her education while fulfilling her passion for spending time with and caring for animals.

Kevin Roberts: From a young age, Kevin actively volunteered at animal shelters and sanctuaries, rehabilitating abused and injured animals. After retiring from the Army, he decided to turn his passion for animal care into a fulfilling career.
Life events such as travel and moving brought unique challenges to the couple in regard to finding proper care for their four canine companions. Many facilities they encountered fell short of their high-quality standards, and reputable kennels were often booked months in advance. Additionally, the presence of a personal protection dog in their family highlighted the lack of local boarding options for dogs perceived as higher risk. These challenges served as a driving force behind the Roberts' decision to create their own boarding service—one that not only met their expectations but also provided unparalleled care for all types of dogs. They are committed to providing a new service that ensures every dog, regardless of their needs, receives the utmost quality of care.
